Juneteenth 160 Years: How Can We Do Better?

Objective: Spark meaningful reflection, strategic conversation, and solution-focused storytelling around African American progress since emancipation.

Context: Over the past 160 years since slavery, African Americans have weathered unimaginable obstacles and struggles. Despite the challenges, African Americans have raised families, built businesses, achieved success, and thrived in countless ways. Yet, the community still ranks low in key societal indicators.

We believe the next 160 years can be radically better — if we are intentional, strategic, and united.

How to Participate:

  • Submit your answer to: “How can we do better for the next 160 years?”

  • Share examples of businesses, leaders, or communities already creating change.

  • Send in stories, video reflections, or creative visuals.

Success Tips: Focus on progress, opportunity, innovation, and forward-looking solutions. Celebrate resilience while inviting vision.
